Dark Tide Brass (DTB) emerged on the vibrant NYC brass scene in 2021, formed by 8 seasoned street band and studio veterans. Dark Tide Brass draws on a variety of influences, with a deep musical debt to classic and modern New Orleans brass styles, along with inspiration from classic funk and soul, Top 40 dance bangers, hip hop, punk rock, and jazz. Our talented in-house composers and arrangers keep our repertoire fresh with signature covers and funky originals.
